The Washington, D.C. Festival of Education is a unique professional learning event that brings together a vibrant and diverse community of educators.

Black Book Festival and Education Expo 2026
Simon Education presents the seventh Black Book Festival, including The Education Expo 2026, raising funds for the SEADS Project. This grassroots festival is aimed at the African and Caribbean community and is a platform to showcase authors, publishers and booksellers. The event provides an opportunity for the global community to: listen to new and exciting Black writers and publishers learn how to write the book they always knew they had within them learn about the global Black book industry identify opportunities to publish and exhibit books on the Black experience. Another aim of the festival is to raise much needed funds for Simon Education's SEADS Project, that provides free education resources and teacher training resources to schools in Africa and the Caribbean. The project currently supports 38 schools in 10 countries with a total student population of 35,000. Entrance guidelines: Free entry to book expo with 50 stalls. Paid entrance to seminar presentations and book expo. Paid ticket holders to go to the front of the queue. Seminar tickets can be booked online or at the venue and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served, basis. Festival DJ/Music Provided by our own in-house Music (RnB, Afrobeats and Reggae) featuring DJ Rak Writing & Publishing seminars (Paid ticket holders only 11.30am - 5 pm) Bestselling author Paige Lewin in conversation with author Sandra A. The Viking Festival Education Day
As part of the largest UK Viking Festival, we invite school groups to step back in time to experience the England of the Vikings and Saxons. As part of the largest Viking Festival in the UK, we would like to invite school groups to step back in time with us to experience the England of the Vikings and Saxons. KS2 classes children aged 7-11 years, will be invited to visit us at Locko Park to take a journey through the England of 1000 years ago. They will meet a variety of people from the past: warriors, farmers, traders, healers, weavers, churchmen and cooks, Danes and English. They will embark on a quest to support King Cnut (Canute) to further establish control of his new realm. The day will create an immersive experience for children studying the 'Struggle for England 793-1066' element of the National Curriculum History syllabus, enabling them to further appreciate some of the complexity of our nation's beginnings.

Festival of Education UK
The 17th instalment of one of the UK’s most exciting and inspiring education events will take place in July 2027. Founded by Wellington College in 2010, the Festival of Education gathers educators from across the UK and beyond for two days of invaluable professional development, discussions, and networking. The Festival of Education stands out as a truly unique professional development event, bringing together a diverse community of educators. The 2026 event featured over 500 speakers and attracted over 6,000 attendees, with over 80% coming from state-funded schools and FE colleges. The Festival is designed for all educators, providing an inclusive platform for learning and growth. The 17th Festival of Education will take place at Wellington College on the 8th and 9th of July 2027. It will host hundreds of speakers and welcome thousands of attendees from across the education sector. At the heart of the Festival is an understanding that learning should be inspiring, engaging, and fun. The Festival is no ordinary education conference. From challenging debates to expert orators, and renowned headliners to unexpected new connections. The Festival of Education is an event where those who inspire find their own inspiration.
